The objective of this course is to prepare learners for a role in international Freight Forwarding by providing the knowledge required to manage freight forwarding activities within global supply chains.
Participants will learn about the various methods of shipping different types of cargo, the document related to foreign trade, procedures for exporting and importing goods, and the laws and regulations governing the international carriage of cargo.
Special attention will be given to the role of the freight forwarder in multimodal transport operations involving two or more transport modes, including legal aspects and professional responsibilities.
Participants will learn how various transport modes – road, rail, sea, inland waterway and/or air – are used in combination to efficiently and cost effectively transport goods and commodities overseas.

ACCREDITATION & EXAMINATION
On completion of the course, participants can earn the prestigious professional IATA’s certification in Supply Chain and Transport Modes. A pass mark of 60% is required. Students receiving a pass mark of 90% or more at their first attempt will receive the certificate with Distinction.
The examination must be taken within the enrolment period. The examination consists of one (1) multiply-choice paper. Students who are not successful on their first exam attempt can retake the examination once again within the enrolment period.Students who register for an examination and do not attend will be recorded as a “No Show” and will lose one examination attempt.

Class Duration: 9am – 5.30pm
Please submit the SDF Training Grant application through the online WDA SkillsConnect platform (www.skillsconnect.gov.sg), if the participant(s) is eligible for funding. Upon completion of the course, company may proceed to submit the Claim through the same platform in order for the Training Grant to be credited into company’s account.
Withdrawal And Refund Of Fees
Applicants who have been accepted into a course and subsequently decide to withdraw from the course are required to serve notice in writing to SAAA Cargo Services Pte Ltd through their respective companies.
Upon receipt of the notice, SAAA Cargo Services Pte Ltd may refund part of the course fee as tabulated below:
