Committed to building a vibrant aviation industry and centre of aviation excellence in Singapore, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has established the Aviation Development Fund (ADF). The initiatives under the ADF are built around the three thrusts of enabling people, enabling ideas and enabling enterprise.

The ADF will help enable the development and growth of the Singapore aviation industry while ensuring its continued competitiveness globally. Interested companies with aviation related proposals are welcomed to discuss their ideas with CAAS officers.

Two incentive programmes have been launched under the ADF.

The Aviation Innovation Programme (AIP) aims to encourage companies to innovate and develop new or enhanced capabilities in niches of excellence in the aviation industry. Projects should have an innovative element and develop new or enhanced capabilities in the local aviation sector.

The Aviation Partnership Programme (APP) aims to drive industry level initiatives leading to a raise in overall sector capability and productivity. Through the APP, CAAS will collaborate with the industry? to adopt industry-level standards or processes that can enhance overall productivity, effectiveness and competitiveness.
