Familiarisation with controls, gauges and fork position
Elementary driving, starting, stopping and steering
Forward and reverse drive and simple corners
Manoeuvres ( in figure of eight )
Elementary driving into gangway - forward left and left and reverse left and right
Picking and placing of empty / loaded pallets
Stacking and unstacking procedures in open area and inside gateway
Practical test
COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course is jointly organised with MOM Accredited training providers, SATS. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance. The participants can apply for a CAAS Forklift Driving License, if they are driving within the airfreight centre.

To train participants in the general safety aspects and correct methods of operating forklifts and to prepare them for the practical course.
To train participants to operate forklift safely and efficiently.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
Class: 9am - 5pm

All Participants need to pass the theory test before they are allowed to proceed to the practical course. A fresh application for the theory course is required for participants who did not pass the theory test.

Additional courses may be added on an ad-hoc basis based on demand.
